For over 30 years I have been involved in in the building of many kinds of instruments, including guitars, bass guitars, lapdulcimers, hammer dulcimers, longneck dulcimers, mandolins, Irish and Celtic harps, ukeleles, and now  double basses.  I repair all of these instruments, as well as others like cymbolems, ouds, bouzoukis(both kinds), and a few things with no name. I have worked in set-up for a well known acoustic guitar manufacturer, operated a small music store, and done repair work for several Austin music shops.

     Since I work out of my home, I can offer my customers a quiet and private setting where we can discuss your needs for repairs or a new custom instrument.  I have a decades old wood stash for building instruments, and a well stocked repair facility to meet any need.  If possible, I prefer to communicate by phone, evenings are best, but an e-mail at any time is fine.
